"Look the thing is this: the outcome of this collaboration is linked to a specific idea developed in the post-lockdown period when you could not rehearse in a proper rehearsal room and there was no way to see each other to play together. It all started as homemade noises made using only audacity and mainly created by claudio who sent them to me and I further corrupted them (the rule was not to use pedals, instruments or pc programs that weren't audacity or vlc) and then sent them back to him for further degradation. At the end of this process in which neither I nor he have ever met physically, claudio sent me all the stuff and I started an obsessive copy/paste and remixing job that in the end after a year ended with this track. The mood that generated this stuff comes from there, from that sense of self-deprivation in forced private life that the hygienic post-covid hysteria has sealed as an institutional norm ... but in the end who cares? Bah I have to do another two weeks of quarantine so fuck it"
