During Gurkha's first live performance, some people said to me something like: "enough with this 3-chords punk music, it's such a bore!". You know what? musichette doesn't care and doesn't know anything about chords, musichette seeks attitude, so now here comes the Gurkha debut ep and it sounds so classic to me. Today the words "indie rock" seem like an insult, but think about what they really mean... it's exactly the attitude I hear in these four songs: simple, direct and free. Plus, despite I can't fully understand the lyrics, I love the apocalyptic scope of their vision.
